We envision a church where SENIOR ADULTS are excited about opportunities to mentor others out of their vast experience of walking with Jesus and from their past trials, victories, dreams, successes, and failures. Where their lives are honored and valued as an essential and vital part of the body of Christ. Where the physical needs of aging are identified and ministered to in love. Where seniors are willing to accept, embrace and encourage change for the furtherance of the Kingdom of God. Where senior adults are encouraged, enabled and welcomed to participate in every ministry of the church. Where senior adults have fun.
Don't think of us as old, we are just highly experienced.
We enjoy food, fellowship, music and travel (no job holding us down). Our activities include:
- Day trips to restaurants, apple picking and weekend trips to the mountains and beach
- Outreach activities with Local Senior Living Facilities
- First Wednesday of each month we have a worship service and luncheon where we invite a local Senior Living Facility to join us
- Third Thursday of each month we have fellowship at various local restaurants
